Invitations are out, so put September 22nd on your calendar! We will meet at the South River Vineyard at 4pm. The winery has a spacious indoor tasting room in the restored church as well as large outdoor patios. Please feel free to bring cheese, fruit, and any other appetizers you would enjoy with the wine as picnic baskets are permitted.

A wine club is born
After a lovely conversation with a group of friends last week (at a baby shower) about drinking, I thought about how some of us just don't get together enough. As friends are getting married and having babies, the frequency of a spontaneous Saturday night out is becoming less and less. So I had a fabulous idea.... let's start a wine club. I ran the idea past the hubby and he thought it was a great plan.
So within a few hours, I selected dates and locations for the 2012-2013 edition of what we call "The Vineyard Vines Wine Club." We are all set for our first outing in September. I am looking forward to a great evening out each month with a wonderful group of friends to enjoy each other's company along with great food and a few cocktails.
